All-league honors have been announced for local football teams.
Over at San Benito High School, Juan DeLeon, Isaac Gonzalez, Adam Rostran, Ricky Navarro and Aaron Escoto earned PCAL Gabilan Division first-team honors.
Anthony Sandoval, Marcus Aranda, Aidan Shaw, Derek Sandoval and Joe Dickerson earn second-team honors, and Andrew Tobias was named to the league sportsmanship team.
At Anzar High School, quarterback Matthew Nickerson earned first-team all-league honors in the Pacific Coast League. Eric Chavarria and Hector Rocha earned second-team honors.
