Hollister City Council members will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St., to consider the following:
- Approve plans and specs and authorize calling for sealed bids for the Cienega Road temporary traffic calming project.
- Authorize agreements with the California Department of Transportation for the City of Hollister Complete Streets Plan to remove safety and cultural barriers for transitioning neighborhoods, at Buena Vista Road, Santa Ana Road, Memorial Drive and Meridean Street.
- Resolution for a supplemental appropriation of $25,000 from traffic impact fee funds for engineering assistance with the Caltrans Cycle 4 Active Transportation program application for Nash, Tres Pinos and Sunnyslope roads. This goes with a resolution to submit a claim to the San Benito County Council of Governments for $75,000 for engineering services.
- Authorize professional services agreement with Prentice, Long and Epperson to provide city attorney services.
- Terminate contract with L&G/JRG Attorneys at Law and authorize the city manager to execute a new agreement to continue providing services for specific ongoing cases.
- Temporary street closure for the Versailles Drive annual block party June 30.
- Temporary street closure for the Horse Show Parade June 16
- Conditional cannabis use permit agreement for Monterey Bay Alternative Medicine to operate a medical cannabis dispensary at 773 San Felipe Road
- Lease with Ann Marie Barragan Burns for office space at 211 Fifth St.
- Report requesting reconsideration of a gateway sign at the soon-to-be-constructed roundabout at Fourth Street and Graf Road. Staff recommends the council receive the report and direct staff to return with a resolution OK’ing preparation of plans and an appropriation of $25,000.
- Report regarding parking for recreational vehicles and boats
- City named recipient of Platinum Peak Performance Award
- Report on the Pinnacles Gateway Partners meeting at the San Juan Bautista Mission Education Center May 17
- Report on the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments Energy Watch Beacon Program and the City of Hollister 2015 Communitywide Greenhouse Gas Inventory
