San Benito County supervisors will meet Tuesday to consider the following:
- Proclamation declaring the month as Water Awareness Month
- Proclamation declaring April 28 as Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Day in San Benito County to Emmaus House and Community Solutions
- Presentation of Blue Ribbon Award by the Child Abuse Prevention Council to ARTI-Culture
- Proclamation declaring Fremont Peak Day on April 29
- Approve legal services with Jones Hall for bond counsel services in connection with general fund lease financing for a solar project in an amount not to exceed $29,500
- Approve legal services agreement with Porter Scott for defense in the litigation between the Hollister School District and San Benito County for $29,000
- Purchase and installation of communication equipment for the new public health facility from Keep It Simple in the amount of $29,308
- Approve work order for repair of three damaged roadway guardrails for $37,639
- Approve contract with Belcher, Ehle, Medina and Associates for an internal investigation not to exceed $18,000
- Receive the Franchise Agreement Selection Committee recommendation for exclusive negotiations with Recology San Benito County for waste collection
- Receive presentation from the Council of San Benito County Governments for polling
- Request direction from the board on professional services on polling for a possible sales and business license tax ballot measure for November 2018
- Discussion and direction on growth management
- Discussion operations of ambulance services by the contracted service provider American Medical Response in response to a public complaint
The meeting is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday at the San Benito County Administration Building, 481 Fourth St.
