Police seek information in Target vacuum theft

The Hollister Police Department is seeking information regarding the identity of a woman suspected of shoplifting a $600 vacuum cleaner from Target.

According to an HPD statement:

On the afternoon of March 28, Hollister Police officers responded to the Target store located at 1790 Airline Highway regarding a report of a theft. The suspect fled in an older model black Crown Victoria or Lincoln Town Car type vehicle with unknown plate and could not be located.

The investigation revealed the suspect had taken a $600 Dyson vacuum cleaner and left the store without paying. Target loss prevention officers reported the crime, but the suspect had fled at the time of the call.

Officers were able to review surveillance footage and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the pictured suspect. The suspect appears to be in her mid 20s to 30s.
