Two signs have been posted and will be unveiled on Monday, August 17. The new control is, “No Left Turn 3 PM – 7 PM, MON-FRI”.

SR-25 is a major commute and business corridor linking south Santa Clara County with San Benito County. In an effort to reduce traffic collisions and expedite traffic flow, the CHP, through a traffic safety enforcement grant provided by SBCOG will be increasing in view patrol and enforcement along this traffic corridor.

“The California Highway Patrol is committed to working with both our local and regional traffic safety partners to address safety and quality of life issues on our Area’s roadways. The placement of this traffic control device will help to ensure a smooth flow of traffic on State Route 25 and reduce delays as well as collisions.” – Sergeant David Singer, CHP HollisterGilroy Area.
