Hollister Fire Department and associated fire agencies were working an active fire in the area of Hospital Road and Colorado Way on Thursday afternoon.
The fire initially was not contained and at approximately 6 acres at this time.
Residents were urged to stay out of the area for fire operations. No evacuations requested at this time.
As of 5:01 PM – Hollister Fire Chief Bob Martin Del Campo reported that the fire at Hospital Road / Colorado Way had been contained and the department was commencing mop-up operations on scene.
