San Benito County reported there were no newly confirmed COVID-19 cases reported Friday.
That keeps the total at 51, with 45 patients recovered, four active cases and two deaths.
San Benito County released the following:
To date, a total of 968 patients in San Benito County (SBC) have been tested for COVID-19 at nineteen reporting laboratories. Of these, 889 have tested negative for COVID-19 and 28 are pending results. Fifty-nine percent (570) of patients tested were female. Patients ages ranged from 10 months to 101 years (median: 44 years). SBC Public Health Services continues to work with medical providers to identify and test individuals who meet criteria for COVID-19 testing. As of May 1, 2020, there have been a total of 51 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in SBC; 4 cases remain active. Confirmed cases include patients who have since recovered and those who are deceased. Forty-five patients have recovered and are no longer considered active cases in SBC. A total of 2 deaths have been reported in SBC, one during weeks 12 and 14, respectively. All results included in this update are current to May 1, 2020 at 4:00PM.
