Hollister City Council members Wednesday approved an emergency law to restrict retailers from allowing sales of more than one 24-pack of water or one 24-pack of bath tissue during the coronavirus pandemic.
It was approved with a 4-0 vote, with some officials taking part in person at the council chambers and others doing so virtually.
The special emergency meeting was at 4 p.m. at Hollister City Hall.
This comes after the city declared a state of emergency and then followed up with a shelter in place order, which was superseded by the county’s stricter shelter in place order.
Look back for more.
