On January 28, Ladd Lane Elementary School held awards assemblies to celebrate the awesome achievement of students. The school invited parents to attend the ceremony held in the multi-purpose room and the house was packed! Students were recognized for having perfect attendance, reaching reading milestones, and for being Ladd Lane Leaders. Ladd Lane is focusing on early literacy, turning learners into leaders and attendance!
Principal Jeannine Ostoja and Assistant Principal Maylani Mahler handed out the awards to over 100 students with perfect attendance this year. Ostoja said, “I’m so proud that our students have such great attendance because I know that they are learning every day that they’re here. Ladd Lane teachers are top of the line!”
Students were also awarded certificates for reaching milestones in the Footsteps 2 Brilliance program.
The Hollister School District looks forward to future school assemblies that recognize student achievements in reading, writing, math, science, and attendance. For more information, contact Superintendent Diego Ochoa at [email protected].
