Courtesy of the Hollister Downtown Association:

Please join us in welcoming Corey Shaffer as she steps into her new role and takes the helm from the recently vacated Executive Director position of the Hollister Downtown Association. Corey has not skipped a beat with the recent transition and we are proud of her accomplishments this past year in her previous role. We believe that she has become a positive instrument for change and good relations within the business community.

Corey grew up in Morgan Hill where she met and married her high school sweetheart 29 years ago and eventually settled in Hollister in 1992. She has held a diverse set of positions with both large and small companies ranging from office management to sales director in the financial and recreational industries. Of recent, Corey has displayed her passion for small business and community involvement promoting local business through print advertisement while at “Out & About” Magazine and then handling promotions, business development and social media at her current role which included managing the Hollister Downtown Certified Farmers Market.

In her off time, Corey enjoys a quiet motorcycle ride through the country with her husband and spending time with her two sons and beautiful granddaughter. We are pleased to have such a dedicated and committed addition to continue in the successful livelihood of downtown Hollister. As Corey beaming with excitement and up to the challenge stated to us, “I am thrilled to be downtown and love this community!”
