The inaugural San Juan Bautista Sip and Celebrate Beer & Wine Stroll in historic downtown San Juan Bautista takes place Sept. 8 from 1 to 5 p.m., and commemorates San Juan Bautista’s 150th anniversary of incorporation as a city.
Twenty participating businesses will be paired with a local winery or brewery, where attendees will be poured a 2-oz. taste of wine or a 2-oz. taste of beer or cider crafted by local and regional beverage artisans.
Each stop will have not only a sip but also an experience that will introduce you to the heart of our unique downtown small business community. Attendees will receive a souvenir collectible 150th Anniversary Sip and Celebrate Beer & Wine Stroll tasting glass, wristband, gift bag with coupons from selected restaurants and merchants, and a passport with map featuring all downtown locations for one tasting at each site. The stroll also spotlights local nonprofit organizations who will raise money through the event and will participate as pourers.
