Hollister School District trustees will hold a special meeting Friday to consider hiring a demographer to help create districts.
The contract is for $17,750 plus expenses with Cooperative Strategies LLC.
At the Tuesday regular meeting, trustees approved a resolution initiating the establishment of Trustee Areas and directed the district to collaborate with demographers to draft scenarios for trustee areas on a map.
Trustees will also hold a retreat-style discussion going over a vision and goals for the district.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. at the district office, 2690 Cienega Road.
