The San Benito County Coroner’s Office has identified the fatality victim in a Sunday traffic collision on Fairview Road.
The person who died in the incident was 61-year-old Gregory Dziak, said Capt. Eric Taylor with the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office, which also acts as the coroner. Dziak most recently lived at the Casa de Fruta RV Park that straddles the San Benito/Santa Clara County line, Taylor confirmed.
The fatal accident occurred Sunday afternoon on Fairview Road near Rosa Morada Road, according to a California Highway Patrol incident description. It was reported at 3:19 p.m. on Fairview Road in northern San Benito County. The incident involved a black sedan and blue pickup truck.
There were no other details immediately available Monday from a CHP media officer who was not on hand to answer questions or release a statement.
