The San Benito Fire Safe Council is presenting a “Wildfire Preparation Town Hall Meeting” on April 4.
The meeting is set for 9 a.m. to noon at the Hollister Hills SVRA Community Room, 7800 Cienega Road, Hollister.
The meeting will center around wildfire preparedness in the community, prevention and responses in hazardous zones of San Benito County in the “New Age of California Wildfires,” according to an announcement.
It is a free event, and guest speakers will include staff from the San Benito Fire Safe Council, Calfire, Hollister Fire Department, Hollister Hills, American Red Cross, the San Benito County Office of Emergency Services and others. Attendees will receive a free AM/FM emergency radio.
