Guadalupe R. Barrientos passed away in Hollister at the age of 90. She was born in San Benito, TX and lived in Hollister for 60 years having worked many years for Almaden Vineyards.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano Barrientos, who died in 1987.
She is survived by her children, Maria DeRosa of Spring Valley, CA, Maria Luisa Gomez of Mexico, Lupe Asencio of Hollister, Cipriano Barrientos Jr. of Hollister, Rudy Barrientos of Hollister, Jesse Barrientos of Hollister and Mike Barrientos of Hollister and 16 grandchildren and two grandchildren that she raised, John and Robert Barrientos. She also has siblings who survive.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Grace Gutierrez, son, John Barrientos and her sister, Rita Garza.
The Rosary will be on Thurs. Feb. 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
The Mass will be on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
