The Hollister Police Department is asking for the public’s help with a recent shooting.
According to the HPD in a statement released Wednesday:
Hollister Police asking for help in investigating a shooting.
On January 13, 2018 around 10:04 pm officers received a call of gunshots being heard in the area of 80 Gonzalez drive. As officer were responding, dispatched informed them that multiple gunshots had been fired at and around the area of 80 Gonzalez Drive.
Officers arrived and met with a female, who was in the area when the shooting occurred. Officers searched the crime scene and did not find any persons who had been hit by the gunfire.
During the course of this investigation, officers found that shots had been fired into the residence and two vehicles parked in front of it. There was further evidence of the shooting found in the area. A silver-colored sedan was captured on video surveillance, speeding away from the area.
Investigators are following all leads at this point and are asking for help from the community for tips or information that can lead to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this incident.
