Hollister City Council members Monday will look at traffic issues related to new development and adding a third meeting to the monthly slate, among other items.
Council members will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
These are among items on the agenda:
Election of mayor pro tempore
The Hollister City Council will consider election of a mayor pro tempore, or vice mayor. This person would fulfill duties of the mayor in his absence.
Ratify appointments to various commissions
Council members will consider Mayor Ignacio’s list of appointments to various commissions and other panels. That would include such panels as the Planning Commission.
Report on traffic related to new developments
Council members will hear a report on traffic mitigation efforts near areas impacted by new developments.
Presentation on city finances
The administrative services director will provide an update on the operating budget, bond indebtedness and property tax assessments.
Consider three meetings per month
Council members will discuss whether to amend the city code to call for three months per month instead of two. New Councilman Marty Richman requested the consideration.
