The local Boy Scouts chapters will be out picking up Christmas trees for the next two weekends.
Boy Scouts troops 428 out of San Juan Bautista and 436 out of Hollister will be picking up trees Saturday, Sunday, Jan. 5 and Jan. 6.
The scouts ask that locals leave their trees by the curbside by 9 a.m. on those days. They are asking for $10 donations for the disposal, and all trees will be recycled.
The service is for Hollister and San Juan.
