Fire crews were able to contain a small attic fire to the point of origin early Thanksgiving morning on West Street.
The fire was reported at 4:35 a.m at 1340 West St. in Hollister.
Battalion Chief Phil Rossi with the Hollister Fire Department relayed it was a small attic fire, with the cause still under investigation.
Nobody was injured in the incident near the San Benito High School campus, said Rossi, who wasn’t on duty during the incident but was able to relay information from crews.
“Everybody got out of the structure,” Rossi said.
He said it was contained to the area of origin in the home’s attic.
That fire came nine days after a house on Homestead Avenue was destroyed by a fire in the attic and roof areas of the home.
