With San Benito County voters appearing to vote down the Measure X bond from Gavilan College, it will be up to the voters in the Gilroy and Morgan Hill areas to decide the fate of the bond.
Here in San Benito County, 50.32% had supported it and 49.68% were against it after the latest results were released at 9:30 p.m., but the measure needs 55 percent approval.
With just under 59 percent approval in Santa Clara County as of 10:30 p.m., the measure is right on the edge between passing and failing.
Voters in the three areas are all deciding on the bond. If approved, the facilities bond would raise $248 million for campus improvements.
