Local candidate and campaign committees were required to file their final campaign finance documents Thursday before the Nov. 6 election. It was the final filing before voters head to the polls and make decisions on a variety of races.
The Form 460 documents detail a campaign’s contributions and expenditures for the latest filing period of Sept. 23-Oct. 20 and also figures for the entire year.
Among the campaigns filing documents were two measures on the ballot, the pro-Measure G sales tax campaign calling itself “Repair Our Roads and Reduce Traffic, Yes on G” and the pro-Measure X bond for Gavilan College facilities.
Measure G calls for a 1 percent sales tax over the next 30 years to fund local road repairs, including an expansion of Highway 25. Measure X is a $248 million facilities bond for Gavilan College at $.02 per $1,000 in assessed value.
