Long time San Juan Bautista resident Dorothy Donnelly passed away on July 21st; about five months since her 100th birthday. Dorothy was born in Elberon, Iowa, one of ten children of the Fox family. She and her late husband, Robert, had several antique shops in San Juan Bautista, Salinas and the Red Barn. They often traveled to antique shows throughout California and also set up shop at the annual San Juan Bautista Flea Market for over 45 years.
Dorothy is survived by daughter Dennis, son Chris (wife Fran), granddaughter Linda (husband Brian), grandson Bob (wife Korina), grandson Tom, great-granddaughter Emma (daughter of Linda), great-grandsons Liam and Ethan (sons of Linda), great-granddaughter Alivia (daughter of Bob).
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, July 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Mission San Juan Bautista. Interment will follow at San Juan District Cemetery.
