A body was found Tuesday in the San Benito River bed on the west side of Hollister, according to authorities.
The deceased person was found in the riverbed Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m. It is in the Hollister Police Department’s jurisdiction, while the sheriff’s office was called in as the coroner.
Early indications point to a medical situation, Police Chief David Westrick confirmed.
