Two grass fires continue to burn in southern San Benito County, while a third has been 100 percent contained.
The Airline Fire at Coalinga Road and Airline Highway was at 1,200 acres and was 45 percent contained as of Thursday morning. The Eastern Fire on Coalinga Road east of Bitterwater was at 566 acres and was 40 percent contained Thursday, according to Calfire.
The Panoche Fire, the one involving three fatalities Monday, was fully contained Wednesday at 64 acres. It started with a camping trailer blaze in the 20000 block of Panoche Road in Paicines that resulted in the death of a woman and her two children.
