Roadwork to cause delays on 25 next week

Courtesy of Caltrans:

Caltrans will perform a series of pavement repairs on a four-mile section of Highway 25 from the San Benito/Santa Clara County line to Shore Road from Monday to Thursday. This roadwork will include repairs to cracks and potholes on the roadway.

Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Motorists can expect traffic delays not to exceed 25 minutes to allow time for the hot asphalt to cool down. Motorists may detour this roadwork by using Highway or Highway152 to US Highway 101.

Paving is scheduled during daytime hours because cooler temperatures are not suitable for overnight work.  Electronic message signs have been posted alerting motorists of this roadwork, which is being performed by the Caltrans Hollister Maintenance crew.
