As part of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (W.I.O.A), the Americas Job Center of California in San Benito County is offering Individual Training Accounts to individuals who are Dislocated Workers, Adults and Young Adults between the ages of 16-24.
The AJCC is seeking to place as many as 30 participants through the Individual Training Accounts where the participants will learn job skills in a class setting. Classes are available within commuting distance through various vocational colleges. Training may last up to a year depending on the chosen approved course. Paid tuition, books and certain supplies may be covered at the successful completion of the program course participants will receive a certificate of completion and job search assistance.
The Individual Training Accounts program will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in gaining a vocational certification and valuable labor market skills call me, email me or simply stop by the AJCC office right now!
Schools who are interested in becoming course providers are highly encouraged to add their schools on the Eligible Training Providers List. The local (W.I.O.A.) program will pay the school site up to the maximum allowed $4,000.00 in tuition.
