On Wednesday night, the San Benito County Water District is set to meet at 6 p.m. for a regular board meeting at the district office, 30 Mansfield Road.
Among items on the agenda are the following:
• Presentation by Matteo Crow, campaign coordinator for the Water Supply and Water Quality Initiative. The board will consider a resolution endorsing the Water Supply and Water Quality Act of 2018.
• Resolution considering a decrease to the agricultural water rate starting March 1.
• Consider purchase of a backhoe by the general manager based on quotes received.
• Consider modifying water contracts to include a penalty for a late allocation reduction.
