Angela Laguna Ferrel passed away in Hollister at the age of 93 on Jan. 27. She was born in Mexico and lived in Hollister for only one year moving here from Watsonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Garcia Gutierrez who died in 2002. She is survived by two children, Maria Guadalupe Benitez (Victoriano) of Hollister and Salvador Garcia Jr (Francisca) of Watsonville. She is preceded in death by three children, Maria Cantor, Rafael Garcia and Maria Elena Garcia. She has three sisters, Juana Laguna of Mexico, Maria Laguna of Mexico and Aurora Laguna of Los Angeles and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends can pay their respects on Saturday, February 3, 2018 after 1:00 PM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Mass and burial will be in Zacoalco, Jalisco, Mexico.
