The Hollister-Gilroy Area’s Squad Club presented a police vs fire chili cook off June 10 to benefit Operation Freedom Paws (OFP) in San Martin called Chili Champions 2017.
According to an announcement from the CHP:
OFP provides service dogs and training for disabled US veterans and children and adults with special needs. Bring the whole family and come taste chilis cooked onsite by local police and fire fighters as well as be entertained by long time Gilroy area favorite JJ Hawg! Face painting, vintage law enforcement vehicle displays and BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase.
